With its airport offering connections to many European and international metropolises, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole is a prime destination both for companies that would like to set up operations locally, and for facilitating exchanges in the business world.

Pays de l'Or Agglomeration

With 22 kilometres of coastline, an economy built around 14 areas of activity, an airport, a significant nautical sector, emblematic seaside resorts, remarkable traditions and landscape, dynamic young people and sustainable agriculture, the Pays de l’Or Agglomeration offers an exceptional quality of life in the immediate vicinity of Montpellier Metropolis. The Pays de l’Or is cultivating this dynamism and modernity for the future.

The Pays de l’Or Agglomeration is in fact taking part in a regional project called "Pays de l’Or 2030" that will be used as a road map for the next fifteen years. The economy, employment, growth, housing, transport, tourism and sustainable development; these are the crucial questions that our regional project will bring into line for the wellbeing of its inhabitants as well as for investors.

CCI Hérault

The Chamber of commerce and industry of Hérault (CCI Hérault) is a public administrative and economic institution whose goal is to further the interests of businesses.

The CCI Hérault accompanies company directors and managers in the life of the company. It conducts a fundamental action of technical assistance and advice to companies in its territory.

The CCI Hérault is an important actor of training with Montpellier Business School and Sud Formation CCI Hérault (CFA, food trade, services trade and tourism. Continuing vocational training) - with more than 6,000 people trained each year.

It also plays an important role in the development of the territory with the Montpellier Méditerannée Airport: it is the second largest shareholder after the French state.
